Pezeshkian issued the message on Wednesday on the occasion of the martyrdom anniversary of Raisi and his entourage, viewing this occasion as an opportunity to recognize exceptional individuals who, with sincerity and humility, dedicated their efforts to serving the people and advancing the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Martyr Raisi, along with Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian and six others, tragically lost their lives when their helicopter crashed in the mountains in East Azerbaijan Province in northwestern Iran on May 19, 2024.
Pezeshkian described the martyrs of this flight as symbols of people-centeredness and selfless service, highlighting that their character should serve as a clear model for all officials in the country.
While praising the struggles of the martyred president and his companions, he expressed confidence that the Iranian nation will always remember the names and legacy of these devoted servants.
