In a meeting with the Chief Commander of Iran’s Army, Major General Amir Hatami, on Thursday, President Pezeshkian appreciated the bravery, sacrifices, and powerful performance of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, especially the Army in confronting the aggressions and invasions of the United States and the Israeli regime.
Praising the decisive, intelligent, and deterrent responses of the Armed Forces to the hostile actions of the enemies, he described the role of the Army in ensuring national security, protecting the country’s territorial integrity, and enhancing defensive deterrence as a decisive and strategic. Pezeshkian added that the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, especially the faithful, popular, and pro-Islamic revolution Army, demonstrated the country’s defensive power during recent developments and threats with high operational readiness, intelligence superiority, command cohesion, and effective combat capability, and did not allow the enemies to achieve their sinister goals against the Iranian nation.
Highlighting the necessity of continuously strengthening the defense capacity and enhancing the combat readiness of the Armed Forces, Pezeshkian said that the administration stands with the Armed Forces with all its capacity and will support strategic plans to enhance defense capability, logistical support, equipment modernization, reinforcement of operational infrastructure, and increase the country’s deterrence power.
The president also emphasized the importance of coordination between executive bodies and the Armed Forces in the region’s sensitive circumstances, adding, “Today, national cohesion, defensive readiness, and maintaining the authority of the Armed Forces are the most important pillars of the country’s security, stability, and calm in the face of threats and the hybrid warfare of the enemies”.

Meanwhile, Major General Hatami presented a report on the latest operational status, defense measures, and missions of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army in confronting the aggressions and hostile movements of the enemies.
The Army commander also briefed the process of regeneration, recovery, and enhancement of the combat capability of units during the ceasefire period, noting that the Islamic Republic of Iran Army, by utilizing field experiences, strengthening operational readiness, improving coordination among forces, and updating combat and support capabilities, is fully prepared to deliver a decisive, regret-inducing, and fitting response worthy of the power of the Islamic Republic of Iran against any threat, aggression, or adventurous act against the country.
Emphasizing the revolutionary and selfless spirit of the Army personnel, he said that the forces are fully prepared to make sacrifices in the defense of the country’s security, independence, dignity, and territorial integrity and the protection of the great Iranian nation, and will not hesitate for a moment in carrying out their missions.
