Government spokesperson urges documentation of Iran’s wartime resistance

Tehran, IRNA – Government spokesperson Fatemeh Mohajerani said on Saturday that the country should preserve a lasting account of the current difficult period in Iranian history, so that future generations can better understand the challenges faced by the nation.

Speaking at a meeting of the policy council for the national creative industries event “Manovin” at the Vice Presidency for Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy, Mohajerani said the event was being held under special circumstances for the country.
“It is necessary to record a lasting narrative from this period, when the country is passing through a difficult phase, so that future generations can also have a clear picture of this era,” she said.
Mohajerani also referred to the establishment of the Minab Headquarters under a government resolution and stressed the importance of addressing the issue of the Minab children during the event.
She said creative capacities could be used to develop new narratives and symbols of resistance and hope linked to the children of Minab, referring to 168 children who lost their lives in an attack on an elementary school in the southern city of Minab during the recent US-Israeli war against Iran.
