Operation Nasr launched against Tel Nof and Nevatim air bases: IRGC

Tehran, IRNA – The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has declared the launch of Operation Nasr (Triumph) targeting key facilities at the Israeli regime’s strategic Tel Nof and Nevatim air bases, saying all combat and operational units are fully prepared for broader action on multiple fronts.

In a Monday statement, the IRGC said fighters from its Aerospace Force began the operation minutes earlier, dedicating it to those martyred during the 12-day war.
According to the statement, the operation was launched in response to missile attacks by the Israeli regime on several radar sites in three locations across the country.
The IRGC also said the speed of its response and the breadth of its target bank were among the key features of the current phase of the operation.
It added that all combat and operational units of the IRGC are in full readiness to carry out a large-scale deterrent and punitive operation, with plans prepared for various scenarios.
Despite repeated warnings from Iran against attacks on Lebanon, particularly the Hezbollah resistance movement, the Israeli regime carried out strikes on Beirut’s southern suburbs on Sunday, prompting Iran to launch retaliatory attacks on targets in the occupied territories later the same day. The Israeli regime subsequently carried out missile strikes on several locations inside Iran.
