According to the Palestinian Shehab news website, Hazem Qasim said Iran has kept Hamas informed of its diplomatic efforts aimed at halting hostilities in various arenas, including Gaza.
The Hamas spokesperson noted that Tehran continues to openly support the Palestinian people, their right to resistance, and initiatives seeking a ceasefire and an end to the ongoing war. Qasim also highlighted Iran’s political, military and financial backing for the Palestinian cause.
Qasim stressed that the movement seeks to ensure that Gaza remains at the center of regional developments and negotiations related to ending the conflict and stopping Israeli aggression.
He also expressed appreciation for the responses by Iran and Yemen to Israeli actions against Lebanon, describing them as examples of solidarity among peoples and groups across the Islamic world in confronting attacks by the Israeli regime.
