Mohajerani made the remarks in response to recent developments in Lebanon, stating that Iran and Lebanon are united by a common hostility toward an enemy that seeks both the destruction of Lebanon and the fragmentation and weakening of Iran.
She also emphasized that the revered martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, had also stated that the Israeli regime harbors a civilizational hostility toward Iran.
She added that Tehran will employ both diplomatic and defensive capacities to secure the rights of the Iranian people, stating that no available tool will be neglected in this effort.
Regarding the Pakistan-mediated negotiations between Iran and the United States, Mohajerani noted that Iran’s diplomatic team possesses deep field experience, citing senior officials such as Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf, a veteran battlefield commander, and Abbas Araghchi, a veteran of the Iran–Iraq War.
This dual expertise, she said, enables Iran’s negotiating team to effectively integrate diplomatic engagement with a realistic understanding of regional security dynamics.
