In an interview with IRNA on Monday, Bachev said, “On behalf of Bulgaria and those Bulgarians who share the same kind feelings and respect toward the people of Iran, I express our condolences on the holy martyrdom of [Ayatollah] Ali Khamenei”.
“His greatness lies in his final act of self-sacrifice, which showed you the path of winning a war that seemed unwinnable. The martyrdom of the leader serves as a path to making his name and deeds paragons of faith and a way of life of silent dignity and bravery,” he added.
The analyst noted, “He [Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei] institutionalized resistance; he was there for Palestine and Lebanon while all the others were either silent or strong only in words. His life and his sacrifice for the people of Iran and all the Muslims, and all the Christians and Jews in Iran, correspond in a similar way with the sacrifice and the blood of Imam Hussein 1400 years ago, and serve as the most powerful symbol of resistance and of combatting oppression”.
“Now Iran is the victor who has the real possibility, if not omitted to create a new order in the whole Middle East and to set the example and one of the first steps for the shaping of the new security architecture in the world”, Bachev said.
He further noted, “His [Martyr Ayatollah Khamenei] final act serves as a lesson to humanity to gather people from every religion and denomination together – Muslims, Shia and Sunni, Christians and all the other.”
The former Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, was assassinated in a terrorist US-Israeli airstrike on February 28, when the two regimes launched their second war of aggression against Iran that lasted 40 days. Iran has vowed to take revenge for the criminal act.
