London, IRNA – Iran’s Permanent Mission in Vienna has condemned a US attack on the Karun nuclear power plant site under construction in Darkhovin, calling on the international community to adopt a zero-tolerance policy toward assaults on safeguarded peaceful nuclear facilities.
The Darkhovin nuclear power plant is one of Iran’s major civilian nuclear energy projects to generate electricity for the national grid. The construction site was attacked by the US terrorist army on Sunday, July 19, 2026.
