Cleric hails resolve of families of martyrs who ascended in recent US terrorist attacks

Qeshm, IRNA – The Friday Prayer Imam in Qeshm, Hojatoleslam Gholam-Reza Hajebi, has praised the steadfastness of the martyrs’ families in recent US terrorist attacks.

Hojatoleslam Hajebi made the remarks during the farewell ceremony for the martyrs of Qeshm late on Monday.
A farewell ceremony for the martyrs from the Chah Tangu neighborhood of Qeshm County was held at the Imam Hossein Mosque, with large attendance from the public, families of the martyrs, and local officials.
During the ceremony, Hojatoleslam Hajebi praised the steadfastness of the martyrs’ families, comparing them to Hazrat Zeinab (PBUH).

Hojatoleslam Hajebi emphasized that the country’s security is indebted to the blood of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in regions such as Qeshm.
He referred to the martyrdom of a two-year-old child in the recent American terrorist attacks on Qeshm and called on the people to honor the martyrs’ path with a unified presence at the funeral.

On July 30, the US launched missile strikes on several locations in southern Iran, including Qeshm Island as well as parts of Bushehr, Fars, and Khuzestan provinces.
The deadliest strike hit a residential house in the Chah Tangu neighborhood of Qeshm, where three members of a family—a father, a mother, and one of their children—were martyred. Their other two children were injured and transferred to the hospital.
