In a post on his X account on Thursday, Gharibabadi wrote that the US military approach produced no results and said that Washington is now presenting its next failure under the label of an “economic war.”
He added that the core problem lies in Washington’s repeated miscalculations, which, in his view, push US officials to create a bigger failure each time in order to cover the previous one.
Gharibabadi noted that US officials claim Iran is on the verge of collapse while, at the same time, reaching out to their allies for support.
He stressed that recent remarks by President Donald Trump — in which he asserted that the United States is launching an unprecedented economic operation against Iran and warned countries and institutions assisting Iran of severe consequences — reflect this same pattern.

Tehran, IRNA – Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs Kazem Gharibabadi says the United States is pursuing further pressure on Iran under the label of an “economic war,” which he views as another outcome of Washington’s repeated miscalculations and efforts to cover earlier failures.
