Salehi Amiri, who traveled to India to attend the third meeting of BRICS tourism ministers, met with South Africa’s Tourism Minister Patricia de Lille on the sidelines of the summit on Friday (August 21) to discuss ways to strengthen tourism ties and leverage the potential for cooperation between the two countries.
In this meeting, pointing to the positive view held by the Iranian government and people towards South Africa and its citizens, he emphasized the need to move beyond the level of political relations and towards practical and economic cooperation in the tourism sector.
