General Vahidi made the remarks in a message congratulating Caretaker Defense Minister Brigadier General Seyyed Majid Ibn al-Reza and Defense Ministry officials on National Defense Industry Day.
“Enemies will never stop their hostility and conspiracy against this great nation,” he said, adding that the battlefield is witnessing new forms of combined and military aggression.
He said continuing the “strategy of enhancing defensive and offensive power” is the only smart and effective way to overcome difficult historical challenges and thwart current and future enemy plots.
Vahidi also praised Iran’s Armed Forces and defense industry for creating a strong shield against threats and said they had prevailed over their adversaries in recent wars.
