Parliament speaker and accompanying delegation return to Tehran

Tehran, IRNA — The Iranian parliamentary delegation, headed by Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, returned to Tehran after a three‑day intensive working visit, during which they held meetings and consultations with high‑ranking Iraqi officials.

Ghalibaf, who had traveled to Iraq at the head of a parliamentary delegation to discuss mutual political, economic, security, and cultural issues with Iraqi authorities and to visit the holy shrines, arrived in Tehran late on Friday after three intense days of work in Iraq.
The four‑member delegation included Mohammad Taghi Naghdali, head of the Iran–Iraq Parliamentary Friendship Group; Mehdi Falah, deputy head of the Iran–Iraq Parliamentary Friendship Group; Shahin Jahangiri, a member of the group; and Sara Fallahi, a member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Parliament.
