This has caused confusion for Israel and the United States, he added.
In addition to upgrading its military capabilities, Iran has also caused extensive damage to US military assets across West Asia, the analyst wrote, citing the destruction of the American logistical maritime base in Manama and the strong impact of Iranian ballistic missiles on US military bases across the region.
The Iranian attacks also forced the US and Israel to use up their air defense missiles, he added.
Citing a statement by Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf that the Iranian military is capable of chasing and hunting F-35 and F-15 stealth aircraft, Atwan said that Iran will be able to bring about further changes in the global military equations.
The analyst also cited the recent revelation of details about Saudi Arabia’s purchase of 48 F-35 fighters, as well as Israel’s pressure on the US government to obtain advanced missile and defense systems that Washington had previously refused to sell to Israel.
