Pezeshkian says resistance will continue as Iran faces full-scale war

Tehran, IRNA – Iran is engaged in a full-scale war but will continue talks while defending the rights and interests of its people from a position of strength, President Masoud Pezeshkian said on Wednesday.

Speaking during a cabinet meeting, Pezeshkian thanked managers and workers across the industrial and production sectors for their efforts, saying their work had enabled the rapid restoration of complex facilities in industry, oil, energy, and other sectors.
He also praised the Central Bank, Economy Ministry, Planning and Budget Organization, and the ministries responsible for agriculture, industry, energy and oil for their efforts to manage conditions and counter pressure.
The president said livelihoods, employment and production must remain top priorities for all government ministers and officials. He stressed the need to prevent disruptions to production, including power and energy cuts, saying the country must not allow the wheels of production to be damaged.
Pezeshkian also called for stronger and broader multilateral engagement with neighboring countries, saying Tehran was negotiating with them to help meet some of its needs.
But he stressed that reliance on domestic capabilities, national solidarity and cooperation remained the main approach.
