In a post on X on Monday, Kazem Jalali positively assessed recent meetings between senior officials of the two countries in Tehran and Dushanbe, Tajikistan, describing their active diplomacy as a sign of their firm determination to shape a new international order.
“Active diplomacy at the highest levels is a sign of strategic transformation,” he wrote, pointing to intensive talks between the two countries’ foreign ministers in Tehran, strategic negotiations between their first vice president and prime minister in Dushanbe on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit and continued consultations between their presidents in Moscow.
Jalali added that this momentum would pave the way for accelerating the emergence of a multipolar world order.
Russian officials have announced preparations for the eighth GECF summit in Moscow, which is scheduled for October 27, with the participation of presidents and senior officials from member countries, including Iran.
Preparatory meetings of senior officials and energy ministers are scheduled for October 25–26 ahead of the leaders’ gathering.
