Araghchi to Macron: Listen to the future of France
Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi reacted to recent remarks by French President Emmanuel Macron, who attributed the recent unrest in France to high fuel prices resulting from the US war against Iran.
Attaching Macron’s message to US President Donald Trump in support of the war against Iran, the top Iranian diplomat wrote on his X account on Monday, “Mr. Macron made his bed when he assured POTUS that he welcomes atrocities against Iranians.”
He added, “Too late to blame the war his ilk helped cause. The French people demand wholesale change, including freedom of assembly”.
Addressing Macron, Araghchi said, “Listen to the future of France, Mr. President.”
