Aban 13, falling on November 4, marks the 1979 seizure of the US Embassy in Tehran and is a national day of the Islamic Revolution. Today is also known as the Student Day and the National Day of the Fight against Global Arrogance.

The 13th Aban rallies under the main slogan “Covenant with the Martyrs, Battle against Arrogance” are an opportunity to honor the memory and path of the martyrs, to declare national solidarity and unity, and to reflect the message of the Iranian nation in safeguarding independence, security, authority, and national interests.

This massive march, with people from all walks of life taking part, is being held simultaneously in over 900 locations across the country, once again displaying the unity, cohesion, and firm resolve of the Iranian nation in protecting the ideals of the Islamic Revolution and confronting global arrogance.
