IRGC commander warns enemies against repeating ‘miscalculations’

Tehran, IRNA – The commander of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) Ground Force has warned that any further miscalculations by Iran’s adversaries would accelerate their expulsion from the region and contribute to the destruction of Israel.

Brigadier General Mohammad Karami made the remarks in a message issued on Wednesday to mark the National Day of Struggle Against Global Arrogance.

Karami said the continuation of hostile and brutal actions by Iran’s enemies would only lead to further Iranian victories and greater national pride, while hastening the expulsion of foreign powers from the region and the collapse of the Israeli regime.

He said the United States’ conduct toward Iran over recent decades, from its opposition to the nationalization of the oil industry and its role in the 1953 coup to various plots following the 1979 Islamic Revolution, reflected the hegemonic nature of Washington’s policies.

Karami also cited the imposition of two wars against Iran over the past one and a half years and the “coup-like unrest” of January 2026, saying these actions were aimed at forcing Iran into submission, overthrowing its government and ultimately taking control of the country.

He said these efforts had consistently failed because of the resistance and strong response of the Iranian people, as well as the sacrifices of those martyred in defending the country.

The commander stressed that Iran’s adversaries had come to understand that repeating their strategic miscalculations and continuing their hostile conduct would produce no outcome other than further Iranian successes and the accelerated withdrawal of their forces from the region.
